We’re passionate about the transportation industry and sharing best practices across modes.

Jessica K. Fly, PE

Immediate Past President

As we welcome our new board, we also want to extend our sincere gratitude to Jessica K. Fly, our Immediate Past President, for her dedicated leadership during the 2024–25 year. Under Jessica’s guidance, the section continued to build on past successes while also pursuing new opportunities for growth. Her vision to expand student membership and initiate new student sections at Arizona universities set the foundation for engaging the next generation of transportation professionals. Throughout her presidency, the section enjoyed a year of impactful programs, strengthened connections with industry partners, and an emphasis on member involvement and professional development. Jessica’s leadership, energy, and commitment have left a lasting mark on our section, and we are truly thankful for her service.

Randy Everett

President

Looking ahead, we are proud to introduce and welcome our new president, Randy Everett, as he leads the ASHE Phoenix Sonoran Section into the 2025–26 year. Randy brings a wealth of public sector experience, with over eight years at the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and many years prior with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). His strong background offers valuable perspective as we continue to strengthen our impact in the transportation community. Randy is committed to creating a more in-person and interactive experience for both the Board and our membership, moving further away from the virtual setting of recent years. He also champions a more value-based approach for our ASHE sponsors, and under his leadership the newly formed Sponsorship Committee will be focused on developing more win-win opportunities for our members and partners. With his vision and leadership, the upcoming year promises to be another successful one as our section continues to grow and prosper.
